Tri-Cities, WA (October 15, 2012) – The Carousel Foundation and Gesa Credit Union have jointly announced today they have entered into a 12-year, $1 million presenting partnership. The Carousel of Dreams will now be referred to as The Carousel of Dreams presented by Gesa Credit Union. (Read more.)

Toyota of Tri-Cities donates $500,000 to Carousel of Dreams
The Carousel of Dreams ponies are closer to going round and round late this summer, thanks to a $500,000 donation from Toyota of Tri-Cities.Eric Van Winkle, chairman of the Three Rivers Carousel Foundation board made the announcement at Tuesday’s Kennewick City Council workshop. Read More

In 2003 a local group of businessmen founded the “Three Rivers Carousel” Foundation and purchased the vintage 1910 Carmel Carousel from Marianne Stevens of Roswell, New Mexico. Marianne is a founding member of the National Carousel Association and the American Carousel Society, co-author of Painted Ponies, a renowned collector, restorer, and owner of carousels. Marianne had owned this particular vintage carousel since 1972 when she purchased it from the Silver Beach Amusement Company in St. Joseph, MI.There are a total of 45 horses, four chariots, one Washington State University Cougar and one University of Washington Husky that will comprise our beautiful carousel.
